Laboratory of Computational Genomics

Our laboratory is interested in studying regulatory mechanisms of gene expression from different levels, including transcriptional regulation, post-transcriptional regulation, and epigenetic regulation.

TRANSCRIPTIONAL REGULATION
  • MotifModeler (identification of cis-acting DNA elements from array-derived gene expression data)
  • Microarray data analysis
  • Transcriptional regulatory network
  • ChIP-seq/ChIP-chip data analysis
POST-TRANSCRIPTIONAL REGULATION
  • MotifModeler II (identification of transcription factor and microRNA from array-derived gene expression data)
  • miR2Disease (curated microRNA-disease database, in collaboration with Harbin Institute of Technology)
  • CLIP-seq data analylsis (genome-wide binding landscape of RNA-binding protein)
  • SplicingModeler (identification of splicing regulatory factors from genome-wide alternative splicing patterns)
EPIGENETIC REGULATION
  • DNA methylation (MeDIP-chip data analysis)
  • MethylModeler (understand the effect of DNA methylation on gene expression)
  • Histone modification (ChIP-seq data analysis)
