  • Two post-doctoral fellow positions are available immediately.

[Computational epigenetics] One position will focus on developing computational and statistical methodologies in understanding mechanisms of epigenetic regulation in cancer, by integrating high-throughput data from multiple domains, including chromatin looping (3C-seq), histone modification and DNA methylation marks (ChIP-seq or MeDIP-seq data), array-derived gene/exon expression data, transcription factor binding data (ChIP-seq) data, and so on.

[Computational Genetics] One position will focus on developing computational and statistical methodologies in understanding mechanisms of genetic variation, using next generation sequencing-derived genomic sequences.

Both these two position will heavily work on the next generation sequencing-derived high throughput functional genomics/genetics data. Preference will be given to those who have strong background in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or engineering.  A strong background in molecular biology and genomics is preferred.  The fellows will have access to excellent facilities, colleagues, high performance computing and the collaborative environment of the Indiana University School of Medicine.  Interested persons should send cover letter, curriculum vitae and the names of three references to: Dr. Yunlong Liu (yunliu@iupui.edu).

  • Multiple graduate/undergraduate student part-time positions available. Interested students in bioinformatics, biostatistics, computer science, or other related majors, please contact Dr. Yunlong Liu (yunliu@iupui.edu) directly.
